  • We would hate for you to miss the experience but we do understand if things pop up. The fee to reschedule is $200 for both makeup and your photoshoot.

  • Makeup is not required but recommended. Beyoncé and Oprah are not showing up to photoshoots without makeup. Just let Tara know that you desire a light beat.

  • Photographer & Content Strategist

    Mena is a former classroom teacher turned brand photographer. Mena always had a passion for photography since she was a little kid so she took a leap of faith 6 years ago and hasn't looked back. When Mena is not behind the camera you can catch her in the classroom teaching the younger generation how to be leaders and creatives. Whenever Mena gets a little free time you can find her spending time with family and friends.


  • Makeup Artist & Educator

    Tara Lowery began her career as a Makeup Artist in 2011. This former basketball standout of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte created her own brand Tara Lowery Makeup. When Tara’s not doing makeup, she enjoys helping other small business owners in the salon industry grow their businesses. In her spare time, she loves watching comedy and enjoying nature.

What To Expect

  • Arrive at MD Studios 10-15 minutes early to give yourself time to find parking and get settled. (Makeup and photoshoot will be at the same location)

  • Makeup Appointment With Tara or Tara staff member

  • Get dressed for your photoshoot. Dressing rooms are available.

  • Photoshoot with Mena

  • If you have to wait you can create content and enjoy small bites.
